Part 4 - Stretching Yourself Towards Your Objectives

Think back to day 2 (Yes, I know, more thinking – but it’s good for you) when you visualized and then wrote down all that you wanted your life to look like if everything was possible.

The reason you want these things you now know is because you are dissatisfied by the achievements you are presently attaining.

You know where you are, and importantly where you want to be for each of the areas of your life.  You know that your life is a journey and that you are travelling a good path down each of those areas toward your objective.

There is one thing that will speed your journey and that is a plan.

“Of course” I hear you say, “that’s obvious” and so it is but if your plan is to correct errors and problems that have gone before and may have been continuing for years even then you ain’t gonna get very far. 

So, you are not going to concern yourself with what’s gone but with what’s to come and how you are going to get there.

Your task for this step is to identify your star mentors.

Who are the people that succeed in the five areas of:

  • Health
  • Relationships
  • Money
  • Work
  • Passion/energy

Who are the people you admire, that you can look at and say “that’s how I want to be.”  Name them, research them, follow them (not stalking!) model yourself on them.  Try to stand in their shoes and see the world as they see it.

Then in your notebook or the purpose-built table, here, enter the star mentor details.
